Are you ready to be the next changemaker in cancer care?

What You'll Do

Flatiron’s real world evidence (RWE) solutions are helping life science companies accelerate oncology R&D, design clinical trials, attain regulatory approvals and much more. The Client Solutions team plays an instrumental role in designing and delivering fit for use data and services that serve our customers needs, configuring and executing on the solution, and ensuring customers derive maximum value from it. You will support a cross-functional client-facing team aimed at identifying and delivering high-impact RWE solutions across the drug development lifecycle. You will engage with clients and internal teams throughout to ensure successful scope identification, solutions design, execution, delivery and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, customer obsessed, comfortable with ambiguity and brings a track record of removing both technical and logistical roadblocks to meet customer needs. In addition, you'll also:

  • Partner with Flatiron Life Science Partnerships team and Flatiron customers to ensure a clear understanding of the customer need and any additional considerations (e.g., budget, timeline, expertise, etc) that might affect the solutions you come up with.
  • Design fit-for-purpose RWE solutions for our customers, which includes understanding and breaking down use cases, defining patient cohort selection criteria, designing specific data models, aligning on analytic approaches and setting the right quality bar for the cross-functional team to execute against.
  • Manage a portfolio of 3-5 solutions (e.g., real-world data deliverables and/or analytic services) in parallel and prioritize tasks across projects and teams based on comprehensive judgment of trade-offs
  • Interface with and lead problem-solving discussions with internal stakeholders (e.g., Life Sciences Partnerships, Research Oncology, Clinical Data, Product, Engineering, and Research Sciences) to ensure that all necessary inputs are considered and the team makes sound decisions
  • Take ownership of our existing operations process and work with our technology teams to streamline so that we can respond to our customers needs as soon as possible
  • Lead or support meetings and engagements with customers (e.g., Life Sciences companies) and communicate progress and decisions clearly and regularly to internal and external stakeholders
  • Create and standardize processes so that each project is easier, faster and/or of higher quality than the last one

You’ll be our key liaison between our Life Sciences Partnerships, Research Oncology, Clinical Data, Product, Engineering, and Research Sciences teams to drive projects while scaling Flatiron’s long-term research offerings.

Who You Are

You are skilled in project management, analytical/quantitative thinking, structured communication (both oral and written) and excited about learning and becoming an expert of the Flatiron ecosystem. You're excited by the prospect of rolling up your sleeves to tackle meaningful problems each and every day. You’re a kind, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who recommends improvements and alternative solutions to resolve problems. You effectively lead cross-functional teams and value the chance to make an important impact.

  • At least 2 years work experience in one of the following types of highly structured or scientific environments: healthcare consulting, RWD/RWE, CRO/ARO, or pharmaceutical industry
