As a Sr. Production Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of this mission, driving innovative and impactful strategies that align with this events-driven vision for the future. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Opus agency seeks a Senior Production Coordinator to support our portfolio of live events, expos and activations from concept through onsite execution. This position will be responsible for assisting with project workflow, initiating and monitoring workback schedules, submitting crew travel and housing, submitting meal and security schedules, general research, project coordination, and providing key support for the projects during pre-production and onsite at the events. This role assists Producers with the operational aspects of Production at Opus and ensures the team is aligned with all Opus Best Practices and policies. Successful candidates will be able to creatively and quickly resolve issues, be an effective team member, and provide coordination support for all events. Must be results oriented, able to meet demanding deadlines and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. YOU SHOULD HAVE ● 3+ years of experience, preferably in production or production related fields ● Technology expertise and fluent in business operations platforms including Google Suite, Microsoft programs and other productivity tools ● Highly detailed and able to multi-task with limited direction ● Self-Starter ● Effective written and verbal communication skills ● Professional presentation as a reflection of the Opus culture ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES ● Update and maintain production team calendar and workflow grid in Excel or Google Sheets ● Liaise and consult internally with Opus teams on current and future production projects ● Executive Producer/Producer support (develop production schedules, manage team travel, assist with workflow and process, documenting methodologies and best practices back to the team, develop agendas and issue meeting notes for active projects, etc.) ● Interface as requested by team members with other vendor workflow and deliverables ● Maintain department file administration ● Vendor database maintenance ● Manage post event archiving and back ups ● Produce a breakout room or small activation and be client facing ● Onsite support for assigned programs COMPETENCIES ● Leadership ● Analytical Skills ● Decision-Making ● Ethics, Integrity, Values WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN RETURN ● Full time position ● Opportunities for growth and development ● Health & Dental Insurance (choice of plans) ● 100% Employer paid short-term disability and life insurance ● Opportunity to elect additional life insurance and LTD insurance at employee expense ● Paid parental leave ● Opportunity to contribute pre-tax dollars to flexible spending accounts ● 401(K) with employer match ● Flexibility in work schedules ● Generous time off HOW WE’LL TAKE CARE OF YOU Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting salary for this role is between $67,000 - $69,000. Our salary ranges are based on third-party national average market compensation analysis. The actual salary is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands.
