Wright Public Entity serves as a management company providing claims administration, risk management & loss control, underwriting & marketing, and client services in New York. We also act as a TPA for Workers Compensation for various self-insured schools & municipalities in New York.
The Medical Bill Pay Specialist position will review medical invoices to accurately audit and re-code New York State medical bills using proprietary review software.
Responsibilities:
Processing approved medical bills utilizing NYS workers compensation fee schedule.
Processing approved hospital bills utilizing NYS workers compensation fee schedule.
Processing Claimants mileage costs.
Process Claimants Travel expenses.
Provide Customer Service to the medical providers.
Position Requirements:
Exceptional telephone demeanor.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Prior experience in adjusting New York State workers’ compensation claims.

Safety and security—the individual observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
Proficient with MS Office Suite
1 – 3 years’ experience in a similar position
