PVS Strategy Intern

Amazon Prime Video Studios’ (PVS) Strategy team is seeking an intern to work out of its Beverly Hills, CA office. This individual will work directly with the Strategy team to execute strategic / operational initiatives as well as define and implement Amazon PVS’ strategic plan following the landmark acquisition of MGM Studios. The ideal candidate will help with the continued integration of MGM Studios, while shepherding activities across various lines of business – including film, television, 1P channels (e.g., MGM+), and consumer products and interactive media. Key job responsibilities
• Research and analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, growth opportunities and internal performance and report these findings to management
• Analyze growth strategy and new business opportunities for Amazon PVS (including working collaboratively across the company to secure buy-in for key initiatives)
• Execute financial models and other analyses to facilitate decision-making
• Support the creation of presentation materials to communicate critical strategic findings to management
• Assist in and coordinate due diligence, valuation, and other relevant analyses for strategic opportunities
• Work effectively in a team environment, both within Strategy and with business unit partners / stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

• Candidates must be active students during the time of their internship. A student is characterized by: any candidate currently enrolled in an accredited degree program, including Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, Associate, certificates, and diplomas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior desired experience for our intern would be internships at previous production companies and studios.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $16.83/hr in our lowest geographic market up to $40.43/hr in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
