Senior Engineering Manager

Overview

Hello! We are seeking a seasoned Senior Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in building and scaling a high-performance dating application. You will drive system design, mentor globally distributed engineers, and establish best practices to ensure the rapid delivery of a reliable, scalable product. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep technical expertise and a passion for cultivating high-performing teams.

What You’ll Do

Leadership & Mentorship

• Mentor and guide globally distributed engineers in best practices, career growth, and technical problem-solving.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive engineering culture that prioritizes learning, innovation, and quality.
• Manage the agile development process, ensuring that our engineering team is delivering on-time and meeting business goals.

System Design & Development

• Lead the design and architecture of a scalable, highly performant GraphQL API.
• Oversee the development process to ensure rapid delivery and iterative improvement of a high-quality dating application.
• Continuously refine workflows and processes to improve engineering efficiency and productivity.

Quality & Standards

• Establish and enforce coding standards, including code reviews and adherence to best practices.
• Ensure that all system designs and implementations meet business, performance, and reliability requirements.
