Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst will be based in our headquarters office located in Tustin, California. The successful candidate will be able to display excellent financial modeling and analytical skills. The successful candidate will translate data into reports and financial models supporting the management team in making informed decisions. The candidate must have the ability to logically think through an issue and create a new or enhance an existing process. The successful candidate is an innovative thinker who can be presented with a small idea or problem and turn it into actionable solution. • Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks
• Prepare and present operational and economic models to support strategic initiatives
• Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis
• Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models
• Assist in various efforts to improve the efficiency surrounding the data collection and reporting
• Identify trends, advise company and recommend actions to senior management team on sound analysis
• Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making within the broadest scope
• Participate on special projects and perform other tasks as assigned
• Cross-trained in duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Advanced Excel skills and ability to create financial models
• Knowledge of Yardi and Real Estate industry / terminology is a major plus
• Knowledge of SQL and Jaspersoft is a plus
• Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
• Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and highly analytical
• Desire to utilize analytical skills in order to use the data to tell a story
• Demonstrate problem solving and decision-making skills
• Demonstrate strategic and creative thinking ability
• Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
• Proven team player with the ability to guide and influence cross-functional teams
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize multiple task
• Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields. MBA, CFA or graduate degree preferred
• 3-5 years of successful experience in a Financial Analyst position
• Experience in financial modeling, data mining, and data analysis

Salary Range

Placement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills.

$83,920.00 - $139,860.00
