Mechanical Project Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with extensive mechanical expertise, particularly in piping, pressure vessels, and storage tank systems, to lead critical projects within an LNG facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and timeline objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of mechanical projects related to piping, pressure vessels, and storage tanks within the LNG facility
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budget, resource requirements, and timelines, while ensuring alignment with company goals and industry best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and operations, to ensure seamless project integration and successful project execution.
Monitor and control project progress, tracking key performance indicators, and implementing corrective actions as necessary to meet project milestones and deliverables.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure materials and services are delivered on time and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and company safety standards, and address any identified concerns promptly.
Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions.
Lead risk assessments and mitigation efforts to proactively identify and address potential project risks and issues.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting innovative solutions and best practices for mechanical systems and equipment in the facility
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project team members, fostering their professional development and growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; or equivalent experience in industrial project management (roughly 7+ years)
Proven experience managing mechanical projects within LNG or industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, with expertise in piping, pressure vessels, and storage tank design, installation, and maintenance.
Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to LNG processing plants, such as ASME, API, and NFPA.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
PMP or relevant project management certification is a plus.
