About the role

We are seeking a senior, hands-on leader to join the Privacy Analytics EMEA team, co-owning the EHDS Go-to-Market (GtM) plan with the Director, Privacy Analytics, Europe. The Director will accelerate conversion of high-value near-term opportunities, provide billable delivery leadership, unlock revenue, and de-risk EU country programme milestones. The role, based in the EU Region, will support delivery across multiple EU markets and as required, provide programme leadership for NHS PET and strategic expansion into Japan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead execution of the EHDS GtM plan in 4–6 priority EU Member States, running HDAB/Data Holder workshops, shepherding Pilot projects of Privacy First Solutions, shaping and responding to RFPs, and creating repeatable playbooks with local IQVIA teams.
  • Partner with PPG and local leaders in the EU to progress pipeline opportunities from MQL to SQL to close; lead deal strategy, differentiation, and objection handling.
  • Provide supporting programme leadership capacity for EU-based Privacy Programmes and Projects and selected EU pilots to de-risk milestones and unlock change orders (COs).
  • Operationalise EHDS partner planning in coordination with Privacy Analytics/AAIS, ensuring measurable pipeline lift and joint opportunity development.
  • Convert EHDS events/workshops into funded pilots and multi-year programmes; leverage existing use cases (like our work with NHS PET) as  exemplar use cases.
  • Support business management procedures, ensuring accuracy in operation and commercial reporting, and track forecasted performance against actuals.
  • Produce and analyse programme and project level reporting, ensuring progress against cost, schedule, risks, issues, and benefits.
  • Proactively highlight and escalate programme risks and issues to management, providing an independent view of project and programme health.
  • Maintain accuracy and access to programme documentation repositories (e.g., SharePoint), updating configuration documents as required.
  • Establish and manage reviews at appropriate points during and after projects, providing evaluations of progress, methodologies, and continuing relevance.
  • Train and coach project managers and team members in project management methodologies (for example, PRINCE2, APM or Agile equivalent) and Agile delivery processes.
  • Act as a role model for new team members, supporting early integration and assimilation.
  • Support the Director, Privacy Analytics, Europe with design, development, and delivery of new business development opportunities across EMEA and Japan, including tender and bid defence opportunities.

Skills:

  • Demonstrable recent experience in programme/project management in Privacy Solutions and/or Data Governance (minimum 3 years, with evidence of delivery in a senior leadership role ideally across multi-country healthcare or complex data analytics programmes).
  • Recent experience of working in a Consultancy role with PPG/ public sector customers and strong public sector stakeholder management.
  • Experience of managing and leading offshore and near-shore delivery teams.
  • Proven track record of converting pipeline opportunities into closed business and leading delivery in complex, multi-stakeholder healthcare environments. Ability to work collaboratively and across multiple teams and geographies.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to positively influence stakeholders and team members up to executive level.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills; ability to review and analyse management information to produce insightful analysis focused on business improvements and risk management.
  • Experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies, especially in healthcare analytics, privacy-enhancing technologies, and digital health.
  • Ability to balance interests of different stakeholders and clearly communicate requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Project and SharePoint advantageous.
  • Self-starter, able to get up to speed with new topics and challenges quickly, with close attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and being a team player.
  • Adaptable and able to take on challenging tasks in a dynamic, multi-country environment.
  • Ability to develop working relationships across the organisation, ensuring expertise is utilised effectively and displaying strong team-working skills.
  • Organised and able to work on multiple streams of work simultaneously, prioritising activities/tasks to achieve deadlines.
  • Ability to react positively to change and re-prioritise where needed.
