NTT Data is looking for high-achieving team players that are quickly adaptable to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for a Data Management Expert to work in New Haven, CT with our global client. 

Responsibilities:

• The Data Management expert will be responsible for the overall delivery and tracking of the “Data Life cycle” of Data Management and Governance area within DnA Unit
• Development and management of primary data collection and management systems, ensure integration with the corporate infrastructure and data architecture
• Responsible for understanding and implementing Data Governance strategy
• Support the Scrum Master in creating user stories in alignment with the objective of the use case
• Collaborate with Product Owners to resolve issues and gaps in creating and completing user stories
• Responsible for review of functional solution, and in particular the Data Management pieces adequately fit to the overall solution design
• Lead the drafting and implementation of guidelines on data management
• Responsible for Data Quality assurance, pipeline management, setting up and managing models, production and standardization of data analysis, dashboards, visualization, and presentations
• Responsible for developing and managing state of the art dashboards
• Responsible for the industrialization of data management pipelines including but not limited to Machine Learning pipelines
• Management teams, helping solve blockers, and vetting quality of deliverables
• Responsible for ensuring the deliverables are aligning and following the Big Data Analytics proposed development framework, as well as industry best practices
• Responsible for providing a bridge between Data Products artifacts and the Data Engineering and ML Engineering pipelines
• Close the gap between Data Management technical development and business goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT (Information Technology), Statistics and Math, Social Science or related experience
• 7+ years with direct experience in data management including but not limited to data management, quality, analysis, assessment, and management
• Proven ability to carry out data exploration and analytics on large datasets to derive meaningful insights from available data
• Experience leading cross-functional, and cross-cultural team
• Must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment handling multiple competing priorities while effectively leading a team and dealing with ambiguity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate at senior most executives’ levels, promote trust and collaboration in diverse environments

• Advanced project management, organizational, problem solving, analytical and decision making
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities and deliverables to successful completion
• Proven ability to lead a team, identify areas of potential improvement, and implement strategies

Desired Requirements:

• Experience with Gas or Electric utility is a plus
• Knowledge of Agile development methodology is a plus
