Role Overview

Paysafe is seeking a Lead Business Analyst – Payments Data to play a critical role in managing and optimizing data systems related to Processor Settlement and financial data. This position will serve as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring data integrity, streamlining processes, and enabling data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience working with payments data, SQL-based analytics, business process improvements, and extensive documentation responsibilities.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Systems Leadership

• Be the expert in payment data systems, ensuring in-depth understanding of data flows, sources, destinations, and system dependencies.
• Drive innovation in data systems, proactively identifying opportunities to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.

1. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Act as a key liaison between business and technical teams (including DevOps, Risk, IT, Marketing), translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Guide projects through the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business goals.

1. Requirements & Pipeline Design

• Define evolving business needs within a fast-paced payments environment.
• Create detailed specifications and design robust data pipelines to support real-time analytics, reporting, and operational requirements.

1. Cloud & API Integration

• Lead cloud-based data migration initiatives (AWS, Azure, GCP) and develop secure, scalable APIs for system-to-system communication.
• Ensure data flows between systems are efficient, reliable, and fully auditable.

1. System Documentation & Governance

• Own the documentation of operational procedures, user guides, and technical references for payment data systems.
• Implement governance best practices to maintain system integrity and ensure consistent, high-quality documentation for all stakeholders.
