Freelance Music Annotators - Remote

Work Schedule: Up to 40 hours over a 1+ week duration according to the project progress

DataForce by TransPerfect is currently looking for Freelance Musicians, advanced Music Students or Graduates, with fluency in English to be part of an innovative project to improve Artificial Intelligence and technology.

This role requires a high level of independence, adaptation, and accuracy – a love of attention to detail will help to succeed in this role!

Role Summary

Music Annotators will listen, interpret and annotate music elements.

Requirements

Proficiency in English;

Advanced Music Background;

Proficiency with Chordal Instruments, such as piano or guitar;

Ability to understand, identify and annotate beats, downbeats, and time signature of songs and
capturing changes (if any)

Strong Analytical Listening Skills;

Ability to accurately annotate music using western pop/jazz harmony chord symbols;

Ability to perform annotation tasks swiftly while maintaining a high level of accuracy;

A degree in music or equivalent qualification is preferred.

Experience in music production is an advantage.
