Summary of Job Duties:

The Pharmacy Technician IV will supervise, direct, coordinate and provide first line administrative and technical functions for our technicians, volunteers, students, and other personnel as directed. This position is an upper-level technician position in the Department of Pharmacy. The employee in this position must demonstrate special skills and knowledge not required by the other pharmacy technicians. The technician in this position will assist department leadership to support the goals and vision of the service line. The pharmacy technician IV works in partnership with the pharmacist manager to develop and streamline pharmacy improvement initiative, including project aimed at meeting departmental goals. The individual participates as an essential member of the pharmacy leadership team to address and resolve broad management/administrative issues such as planning for future programs and services, patient and staff safety, regulatory compliance, and operational monitoring.
