The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience managing Federal contracts and possess excellent knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other federal procurement policies and procedures. The Sr. Contract Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of our Federal contracts, from the pre-award phase to the post-award phase, ensuring compliance with all contract requirements and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the pre-award phase of Federal contracts, including reviewing solicitations, reviewing nondisclosure and teaming agreements, and supporting the proposal development teams as necessary
  • Perform contract compliance reviews in accordance with contract requirements and Federal regulations
  • Oversee the negotiation, execution, and administration of Federal contracts
  • Review and negotiate various types of agreements, including but not limited to NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Contracts, and Subcontracts.
  • Ensure compliance with all contract requirements and regulations, including FAR, DFARS and other agency-specific regulations, and other procurement policies and procedures
  • Support program teams with contract performance, including deliverables, schedule, and budget, and identify potential issues and risks
  • Provide contract and pricing guidance to program teams and senior leadership, as necessary
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with contracting officers and other stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain contract management tools, templates, and processes to ensure consistent and efficient management of contracts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience managing Federal contracts
  • In-depth knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other federal procurement policies and procedures
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and prioritize competing demands
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with contract management tools and software
  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) certification is preferred

Work LocationSoftrams is a 100% remote first company.
