What You Will Do

• This is a 2nd shift position M-Fri
• Maintain fluid levels in machinery, document usage, and monitor fluid inventory.
• Change filters on machinery as needed.
• Operate forklifts and aerial lifts as required, including pre-operational inspection and log.
• Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of all areas in the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work area.
• Maintain proper soap to water ratios in washers by using titration kits.
• Maintain non-hazardous waste collection and storage areas to include barrels, tote, solid waste hoppers.
• Prepare waste material containers for shipment per EHS guideline, including proper labeling and documentation.
• Operate and maintain fluids filtration equipment.
• Perform scheduled / unscheduled cleaning of cutting fluid tanks.
• Clean and wipe down machinery,
• Remove the buildup of process swarf, grit, and fragments in machines and tanks.
• Empty and clean oil skimmers
• Clean and service parts washers
• Remove and replace Deionized Water bottles.
• Use of barrel vacuum system to recover fluids.
• Reporting defects, damages, and malfunctions of any kind to the supervisor.

Qualifications You Must Have 

• HS Diploma or GED

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

• 1 year industrial maintenance
• General mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
• Position requires basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or fluid power systems. 
• Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, and Power Point) required.
• Strong written & verbal communication skills.
• Able to use basic hand tools and equipment.
