What You Will Do
- This is a 2nd shift position M-Fri
- Maintain fluid levels in machinery, document usage, and monitor fluid inventory.
- Change filters on machinery as needed.
- Operate forklifts and aerial lifts as required, including pre-operational inspection and log.
- Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of all areas in the facility.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work area.
- Maintain proper soap to water ratios in washers by using titration kits.
- Maintain non-hazardous waste collection and storage areas to include barrels, tote, solid waste hoppers.
- Prepare waste material containers for shipment per EHS guideline, including proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate and maintain fluids filtration equipment.
- Perform scheduled / unscheduled cleaning of cutting fluid tanks.
- Clean and wipe down machinery,
- Remove the buildup of process swarf, grit, and fragments in machines and tanks.
- Empty and clean oil skimmers
- Clean and service parts washers
- Remove and replace Deionized Water bottles.
- Use of barrel vacuum system to recover fluids.
- Reporting defects, damages, and malfunctions of any kind to the supervisor.
Qualifications You Must Have
- HS Diploma or GED
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
- 1 year industrial maintenance
- General mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
- Position requires basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or fluid power systems.
- Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, and Power Point) required.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Able to use basic hand tools and equipment.
