Raytheon has an opening for a Senior Manager, Contracts supporting the Alternate Missions and Space (AM&S) Portfolio within Raytheon’s Advanced Technology (AT) Strategic Business Unit, which focuses on key pursuits as well as development efforts that serve as the growth engine and front end of the business, critical to the future growth of Raytheon. Primary responsibilities will include leading key pursuits, supporting program execution, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, providing contractual guidance, developing Intellectual Property strategies and novel contracting approaches.

What You Will Do

  • Work closely with the Portfolio Directors, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Business/Estimating, and Supply Chain to manage successful execution of contracts

  • Provide guidance to senior management regarding contractual and business issues, rights and obligations, and risk mitigation.

  • Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI) and Broad Agency Announcements (BAA)

  • Review Estimates at Completion (EAC)

  • Conduct proposal reviews and coordinate customer responses

  • Negotiate contracts

  • Support program management and execution reviews

  • Develop Intellectual Property and investment strategy

  • Ensure that negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies

  • Minimal domestic travel required
