Account Manager - Biopharma & Healthcare (m/f/x)

The Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Avantor organization as Account Manager - Biopharma & Healthcare (m/f/x) and play an important role in our team working with customers from life sciences and biopharma sectors in the Netherlands covering such locations as Utrecht, Leiden, and Rotterdam.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: You have a relevant degree in the Life Sciences area or equivalent.
• Experience: Ideally, you already have experience in b2b sales in the relevant industry
• Language Skills: You have excellent knowledge of Dutch and good knowledge of English.
• Skills: You have commercial flair, are communicative, proactive, customer-oriented, and know how to build bridges between different departments.
• Location: You live in the central part of the Netherlands and have a valid driver's license.

How You Will Make an Impact

• You will collaborate with the Sales Manager to create a sales plan for the customers/region assigned to you and ensure the realization of this plan.
• You will visit customers/laboratories/production facilities and conduct sales conversations with end-users and buyers.
• You will take the lead on larger projects such as European tenders and lab setups.
• You will ensure the rollout of contracts and guide implementations at customers.
