In a typical day as a Software Engineer, you would ...

• Develop code, design, and implement CI/CD automated pipelines, debug, and manage effective feedback loops to various stakeholders.

• Write code and complete programming by using current programming languages and technologies

• Perform automated testing and debugging of applications

• Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance

• Interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications

• Effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals, and negotiate options with stakeholders.

• Collaborate with Architects, development peers, junior engineers, technicians and external design partners

• Typically interact with high-level individual contributors, managers and program core teams

• Lead a project requiring software applications development

If you are…

• 1 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Candidate must have a good working knowledge of Golang programming and backend databases (i.e., MongoDB)

• Candidate must have a keen desire to apply “chaos” automated testing. This includes finding ways to automate the testing of API stability and scalability, K8s cluster performance, and security best practices.

• Candidate must be comfortable using containerized deployment and management technologies including Kubernetes and Docker.

• The ideal candidate will have experience deploying GitHub Actions in a multi-cluster CI/CD environment.

• Good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen. You are aligned to our core values.

• Holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent

• Ability to design and maintain CI/CD automated pipelines to the level required to support Production Quality code and robustness. To support a growing list of clients, we need help offloading CI/CD pipelines and daily cluster maintenance from developers. i.e., Power Advisor, eCommerce, OCA, and others.

• Strong expertise working in Cloud and on-prem environments, designing robust solutions for functionality, scalability, and performance. Implement continuous integration and deployments by automating testing and maintenance. Operational control of proper permissions, accessibility, driving build and release resolutions. Implement security scanning and general best practices.

• A professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experienced in software application design tools and programming languages

• Excellent in verbal and written communication and presentation
