Job Summary

The Kids Club Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the youth center, ensuring a safe, engaging, and enjoyable environment for children. This includes helping with training and ensuring adherence to club standards and maintaining compliance with safety protocols. The Kids Club Supervisor plays a critical role in creating a welcoming, fun, and nurturing atmosphere for young members while providing exceptional service to parents. In addition, they are expected to demonstrate professionalism, tact, and diplomacy when interacting with members, children, and staff, fostering a positive and supportive environment. 

Reporting Structure 

  • Reports to the Kids Club Director

Day to Day

  • Connect with members regularly and promote youth center activities, including warm welcomes, magic moments, and fond farewells.

  • Promote the facility amenities, programs, and the club while maintaining a high level of professionalism and service.

  • Show professionalism and willingness to coordinate activities and programs with the children.

  • Must monitor and actively participate with children.

  • Help deal with problem behaviors of children in the youth center.

  • Assist in the interviewing, hiring, and evaluating of all youth center employees.

  • Help ensure youth center employees are following the club operating procedures and that they are adhering to at least the minimum standards set forth by the Club.

  • Ensure that children are under constant supervision by childcare attendants • Assist in the development of educational and fun programs for the youth center.

  • Maintain a running inventory of all equipment in the youth center.

  • Advise the Kids Club Director and/or Sports Club Director of any equipment needs.

  • Ensure equipment, toys, and games in the youth center are safe for all children.

  • Must ensure the cleanliness of the youth center.

  • Ensure that daily assignments are completed in their designated areas to uphold Club standards and maintain orderly and organized workspaces, arranging the entry area, and clearing any trash or debris.

Additional Duties 

  • Due to the dynamic nature of the club, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.

  • Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.

  • Represent the company's management team by supporting and enforcing policies while maintaining the highest standards of ethics and integrity.

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff. 

  • Promote and follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same. 

  • Take the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role. 

  • Address and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations. 

  • Support the overall efficiency of the team by collaborating and contributing to the club’s goals.  

About You 

Required 

  • A high school diploma or equivalent. 

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children in a day care, camp, or educational setting. 

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in child supervision, activity planning, or youth program
