The CTF Senior Manager is a leader and key business partner with the global function and provides supervision and coaching to a team of individuals working closely with colleagues in CDDA, Tech@Lilly, and other components of the R&amp;D organization. The Senior Manager also serves as the first line escalation point to manage the operational, compliance, and quality status of prioritized CDDA business system <span>support.  Additionally,</span> the Senior Manager will provide leadership with <span>recruiting/onboarding,</span> process improvements, training, and diversity initiatives, etc. within the CDDA and will ensure career development plans are in place for their staff, all while leading by example in the Team Lilly behaviours. </p><p></p><p>12 month contract posi</p><p></p><p><b>Primary Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><span>Lead a group of direct reports (approximately 10-12) including but not limited to:</span> </li></ul><ul><li>Contribute to strategy and associated yearly objectives, metrics to measure success; leading staff toward achieving strategy and goals. </li><li>Recruiting and retaining appropriately qualified staff, recommending and implementing staffing decisions. </li><li>Management and supervision of staff including performance management, coaching, mentoring and robust development, reward and recognition. </li><li>Complete talent assessment and succession planning for direct reports and discusses results with individual staff members maintaining the integrity and privacy of the data. </li><li>Foster an environment of diversity and inclusion where staff feel comfortable speaking up and ideas are shared openly.</li></ul><p></p><ul><li><span>Responsible for the oversight and clear visibility in the execution, of timelines, budget, performance metrics and resource needs</span>.</li><li>Accountable for process improvement and proactive resolution of operational problems/challenges that arise within operational <span>execution  </span></li><li>Ensure effecti
