The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Acoustic Programs (AP) within BDS Space, Intelligence, and Weapon Systems (SI&WS) is seeking a motivated Experienced Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer for our team based in Huntington Beach, CA.
The successful candidate will have experience with analysis of customer and system requirements, development of high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications, validation of designs through testing and analysis, providing engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product, and investigating emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
Design & Development: Develop high-level designs and create detailed schematics and architectural blueprints for hardware equipment using CAD tools.
Testing & Validation: Build, analyze, and test prototypes to verify functionality, performance, and efficiency.
Manufacturing Oversight: Supervise the production process and ensure components meet industry standards and design specifications.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve hardware issues, debugging, and modifying designs as needed.
Integration: Update existing hardware to ensure compatibility with new software and technology.
Collaboration: Work with software engineers, technicians, and project managers to ensure seamless system integration
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
5+ years related hardware engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with anti-submarine warfare (ASW), anti-surface warfare (ASUW), or maritime intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) systems
Experience with and / or support of multiple platforms used to support underwater acoustics including P-3, P-8A, MH-60R, submarines and Unmanned Autonomous Vehicles (UAVs)
Experience with export-related material and international customers
Experience on a US Navy program
Experience with CAD tools

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $119,850.00 - $162,150.00
