THE WORK:

  • You'll support the Technology Project Management team by preparing, organizing, and maintaining essential project documentation, including Project Initiation Forms, Project Schedules, and Risk Identification/Mitigation plans. Ensure compliance with all documentation requirements and track project progress.
  • You'll schedule and Meeting Coordination: Schedule and coordinate project meetings with various stakeholders, create agendas, take meeting notes, and distribute finalized meeting minutes to ensure all parties are informed and aligned on project goals and timelines.
  • You'll coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the completion of project tasks, providing support and oversight on technology project milestones. Deliver status reports on a timely basis and help resolve any technical issues that arise during project execution.
  • You'll track project status, monitor timelines, and ensure all project tasks are completed as scheduled. Provide regular management reports on project progress and identify any areas requiring attention to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • You'll conduct onsite observation reports during project implementation to ensure alignment with project objectives, standards, and technical requirements, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality control.
  • You'll coordinate with vendors to ensure the proper installation and configuration of technology systems, including networking, physical security, audio-visual systems, VoIP, wireless deployment, and other technologies required for the project.
  • You'll work with Asset Management teams to ensure the proper tagging and tracking of technology equipment and assets throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with asset tracking standards and project documentation.
  • You'll proactively identify potential risks associated with technology projects, document them, and develop mitigation plans to reduce project delays or cost overruns. Update risk logs regularly and collaborate with project teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • You'll assist with the development of detailed technical scopes of work for various technology projects, ensuring that the project specifications align with the needs of the higher education institution and comply with industry standards.
  • You'll review and coordinate the approval of technology project submittals to ensure they meet the requirements of the projects and client specifications. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure that all necessary approvals are in place before moving forward.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Minimum 3 (three) years' of experience in management of multiple projects; experience within a capital improvement programs and familiarity with relevant codes and standards
