About the Opportunity 
WeWork is seeking an experienced, proactive, driven FP&A Analyst to join its Global Finance team. Through clean and accurate financial modeling, business driving quantitative analysis, and strategic thinking, you will play a critical role in driving decision-making and the WeWork’s overall business planning and forecasting process. 


You will be a highly independent, self-starter who collaborates with functions across the company. You will build consolidated financial forecasts and manage results analysis, using the findings to inform strategic plans. As a critical link between the business and the internal finance team, you are responsible for supporting the consolidated P&L budgeting, forecasting and performance variance commentary. You are not afraid to jump into the details and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment which includes managing expected and unexpected deadlines. You possess a high-level of intellectual curiosity and can influence others without direct authority.


Job Responsibilities and Duties
Financial Planning and Modeling

  • Support the annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and reporting processes for consolidated three statement models.

  • Provide monthly internal reporting for leadership, including insightful analysis to explain trends and variances to targets.

  • Continuously look to increase efficiency through process automation.


Financial Analysis

  • Prepare flexible financial models with clean outputs.

  • Analyze actual financial results, identify drivers, and communicate variances from budget/forecast to business partners.

  • Prepare monthly reports and forecast estimates.

  • Strong, vocal, and professional partner across the finance team and broader organization to communicate drivers and trends in their business.


Presentations

  • Support in enterprise-level reporting such as P&Ls reviews, KPI models, and financial presentations including monthly financial reviews with executives, and board of directors’ presentations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree

  • 2+ years work experience

  • Financial planning, accounting, or P&L management experience

  • Highly skilled with MS Excel and building dynamic financial models

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Well organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor based on audience and present confidently and cohesively 

  • Ability to partner with a range of cross functional partners some of whom will have little to no financial knowledge or training


Preferred Experience

  • Real Estate industry experience

  • Experience with Essbase, Oracle Hyperion, Snowflake, PowerBI

Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay: $90,600 - $120,800 USD

Incentive Compensation: WeWork employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan specific to their role. Your recruiter will detail what incentive plan is applicable to this specific role. WeWork incentive plans are subject to the terms of the applicable incentive compensation plan, which will be made available to you after commencing employment. WeWork reserves the right to amend its incentive plans, and nothing in this job requisition or any other document creates a right to a specific incentive plan payment.
