Primary Care Physician – Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

We invite applications for a full-time specialist in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine at our Silver Spring Medical Center.

In collaboration  with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States we  provide high-quality, patient centered health care. Through this partnership, our physicians are part of an industry-leading health care delivery model, having access to advanced technological tools and receiving comprehensive practice support.

MAPMG physicians are salaried, without the pressures of alternative payment models or fee-for-services.  Our members have easy access to specialists and medical records, thus allowing you to treat the whole patient. 

What You Can Expect:

• This position is listed as a 0.8FTE, which is the equivalent of 32 hours per week and is reflected in the salary listed below
• Staff clinical sessions at medical centers during clinic hours of 8a-5pm, with approximately 4 to 4 ½ working hours per clinical session
• Work a consistent schedule of either 4 full days or 3 full days and two ½ days in clinic and enjoy either one full day or two ½ days off
• Provide primary care for a panel of approximately 2000 patients per 10 clinical sessions, adjusted for age, gender and medical acuity
• Document visit notes and post-visit summaries in EPIC EMR
• Treat patients in clinic and via video/phone

Minimum Requirements:

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Eligible
• Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia

The starting annual salary for this position is $240,000 which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
