UXO Technician II/Diver - Camp Lejeune, NC

USA Environmental is seeking a UXO Technician II/Diver for its dive project at Camp Lejeune, NC.  The project involves underwater MEC Removal. The mobilization date is June 29, 2025 for approx. one-month.

Personnel requirements:

• Graduate of a military EOD School of the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, or Australia, or Graduate of a UXO-TI Course or the EOD assistant’s course;
• On-the-job training including, but not limited to familiarity with the process, procedures, and equipment (e.g., geophysical) used for conducting MEC-related activities;
• Never been removed from a MEC assignment for personnel reliability reasons or unsatisfactory performance of duties, substantiated by official documentation;
• Six working dive logs (Within the past 6 months)
• 8-hour HAZWOPER Refresher Certificate
• OSHA Physical and Diver exam
• Emergency 02 Provider Certificate
• First aid / CPR Certificate
• Bloodborne Pathogen Safety Certificate

A minimum of one and one half years (1.5) of EOD/MEC experience if an EOD school graduate; a minimum of three (3) years of MEC-related experience if a UXO-TI school graduate.
