About the Job:

The Director of Practice Optimization provides strategic and operational leadership to improve the performance and efficiency of Foundation Medical Partners. This role partners closely with leaders, managers, providers, and staff to identify improvement opportunities, implement best practices, and ensure excellence in patient care delivery across assigned practices.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead operational initiatives and process improvement projects across FMP practices.

• Oversee day-to-day operations for assigned practices and support practice managers.

• Evaluate workflows, quality metrics, and resource use to improve efficiency and care delivery.

• Manage budgets, analyze financial performance, and optimize resource utilization.

• Provide clear communication on goals, expectations, and new initiatives.

• Collaborate on recruitment, onboarding, and staff development.

• Support strategic planning and the implementation of advanced primary care models.

• Contribute to system-wide initiatives including EPIC integration and operational alignment.

Who You Are / Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business, or a related field required.

• At least 5 years of project/practice management experience, including 2+ years supervising staff.

• Healthcare experience preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Project; MS Visio experience a plus.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• PMP certification preferred.
