Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Pontiac, Michigan

Position Overview

JLL is seeking an experienced Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician to provide comprehensive facility maintenance and technical support for manufacturing and commercial facilities. This role ensures optimal facility performance, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence through preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience & Certifications

• 10+ years of facility maintenance experience in industrial or commercial environments
• Journeyman certification required in HVAC, Electrical, Machine Repair, or Mechanical craft areas
• Current Fork truck & Aerial Lift Operators License
• OSHA safety training compliance

Technical Competencies

• HVAC/R Systems: Indoor Air Quality, Temperature Control, Scavenge Exhaust Systems
• Mechanical Systems: Pumps, motors, speed and feed systems, hydraulics
• Building Automation Systems (BAS) and monitoring systems
• Power Systems: Normal power distribution, emergency power, UPS systems
• Building utility and piping systems maintenance

Core Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Preventative and predictive maintenance program execution

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Advanced Technical Experience

• Controller programming: Allen-Bradley, Fanuc, and Siemens systems
• MAXIMO or similar CMMS experience
• Class 7 Clean Room mechanical systems
• Environmental compliance and reporting

Manufacturing Process Equipment

• Tank Farm Operations and bulk fluid dispensing equipment
• Compressed gas storage and distribution systems
• Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers and Oil Mist Collectors
• Cold/Hot thermal units with temperature/pressure control
• Production process central exhaust systems
• Spare parts inventory management

Key Performance Objectives

• Safety training compliance and PM completion targets
• Help Desk work order completion within 24 hours
• Environmental PM completion and reporting accuracy
• Client scorecard performance standards achievement
• IPMP compliance and professional development participation
