Human Resources Manager

MinIO is a fast-growing technology company revolutionizing the world of object storage. We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager with excellent customer service skills and expertise in HR Administration and Compliance.
As the first HR hire at MinIO, you will be instrumental in helping us streamline and optimize our processes and provide a phenomenal experience for our global workforce in their HR needs. In this role, you will play a strategic and hands-on role in all areas of HR, supporting and collaborating with our talented employees, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee development.
We’re looking for a candidate who has a successful track record as an HR Manager with direct hands-on experience. A candidate who will oversee a range of administrative tasks and HR compliance activities, and who will provide excellent support and guidance to our talented employees across the globe.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
HR COMPLIANCE
· Work closely with our PEO and Global EOR to oversee successful hiring and onboarding and to ensure accuarte and timely payroll processing and compliance.
· Collaborate with PEO, Global EOR and our 401K plan to manage benefits administration.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and regulations to ensure the company’s HR practices remain compliant.
EMPLOYEE ONBOARDING & OFFBOARDING
· Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless experience.
· Manage the offboarding process to ensure all documents are executed including exit interview.
· Collect and analyze feedback from employees through surveys, meetings or other methods to make improvements in HR policies and practices.
PAYROLL & BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION
· Oversee domestic and global payroll administrative activities.
· Liaise with Accounting Team to provide accurate and timely information for GL posting and monthly reconciliation.
· Manage Comprehensive Benefits programs, including health insurance and 401K.
HR POLICIES, PROCEDURES & RECORDKEEPING
· Assist in the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with best practices and legal requirements.
· Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personnel files and compliance documentation.
· Prepare reports as needed for audits or compliance purposes.
SYSTEMS & PROCESSES DEVELOPMENT
· Assist in streamlining HR processes and systems for maximum efficiency.
· Leverage technology, ATS and HRIS tools for data management and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 4-5 years in hands-on human resources experience, ideally within a fast-growing company
- Proven expertise in HR Compliance, administrative management, or related roles
- Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices and benefits administration.
- Experience with full-cycle recruitment and onboarding
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with tact and discretion
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced and dynamic work environment
