Assistant Service Engineer 

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Assistant Service Engineer, are to: 

 

• Performs routine assignments of limited scope and complexity;
• Solves non-complex technology problems of a routine nature;
• Makes decisions within agreed-upon areas;
• Completes job assignments within requirements;
• Develops a sense of urgency and priority of assignments;
• Use of scripting language to support automation development;
• Scheduling and ordering of WAN/LAN components and services with providers;
• Provide timely updates to stakeholders on WAN/LAN orders and activities;
• Ability to interact with other teams in IP and DT-IT;
• Logistics scheduling of WAN/LAN components(warehousing/asset management);

Required Qualifications:

 

• B.S degree;
• Knowledge or theoretical experience of network infrastructure, connectivity of buildings and network devices;
• Be able to interact across teams to achieve goals;
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary, virtual and agile environment;
• Fluent in English both written and spoken.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• B.S degree in business, information science or equivalent plus 0-1 years of IT experience.
