Job Description
As a Senior Process Engineer you'll have the unique opportunity to work within an integrated Architecture, Engineering, and Construction firm capable of executing ONEsolution integrated project delivery work. How will I contribute?
You will be responsible for overseeing the process engineering discipline at a project level. You'll use your thorough understanding of the development and field implementation of documents through all project phases, and will help with directing and managing the workflows and execution of design and engineering staff to meet client expectations and project goals.
Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve intermediate non-compliant existing conditions during site walks and construction field surveys
- Interface with client and external partners required
- Plan and direct work and manage a project budget form an discipline design perspective on large complex projects required
- Work with a Project Manager to proposal development, man-hour planning, project scheduling for the discipline scope of work on intermediate level projects
- Identify and resolve intermediate non-compliant existing conditions during site walks and construction field surveys
- Develop intermediate internal discipline design and engineering training presentations
- Develop construction drawing packages and write construction specifications on advanced and complex projects with little oversight
- Lead and advanced support of construction activities such as RFI responses, submittal reviews, punch list development, and construction progress reports
- Conduct quality checking of documents for intermediate complex projects, e.g., technical verification of design calculations and documentation, and drive overall project quality
- Provide mentorship to discipline Engineer I and II and/or Designer I and II
- Lead advanced project system design programming and master planning with support from Senior Engineer
- Lead a team of discipline staff in the execution of advanced projects discipline design and engineering required
- Responsibility to oversee the production of deliverables or lead activities which require more experience, deeper understanding or involve more complexity such as:
- Site Selection
- Master Planning
- Facility Layout Development
- Capacity Planning / Expansion Strategy
- Complex / Novel Vendor Package Management
- Risk Assessments
- HAZOP / HCCP / Etc.
- 3D Model Review & Coordination
- Support site walkdowns and field reports
- Oversee commissioning and startup

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in discipline specific degree
- Master’s degree in an appropriate specialization is desirable
- PE is highly recommended
- Minimum of 10 years of experience
- A mixture of design firm, operating company or construction related experience (within the market sector) are desirable
Additional Qualifications
- Intermediate experience with other applicable industry standards required
- Intermediate experience with applicable building codes required
- Advanced experience conducting and leading field surveys of existing conditions and support of field reporting required
