In this role, you will:
Support management in the day-to-day supervision of less experienced team providing guidance, and resolution to issues contributing to overall effectiveness of team
Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and tools within Operations group
Perform or guide others on complex escalated issues that require planning, evaluation, and interpretation
Prioritize work and provide daily work leadership and mentorship to team
Provide training and technical guidance to less experienced staff
Lead or contribute to implementation of new or revised processes and procedures that require coordination among operation teams
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Interact with internal customers
Receive direction from leaders
Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Serve as a resource to other departments on transaction structure, documentation, and company policies
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience reviewing banking transactions
Knowledge in Financial services, fraud, investigations, Bank Secrecy Act, anti-money laundering
Experience with research system tools such as Infolease, ISM, ect.
Ability to analyze and summarize large amounts of data
Ability to train and lead others
Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding USA PATRIOT Act
General knowledge of entity formation verification documents
Proven ability to display a willingness to learn new policies, procedures and processes
Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
Good analytical skills including analyzing complex data
Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access) skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
Capability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
Aptitude to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Competency to handle confidential material in a professional manner
Potential to achieve high production and quality standards
