As a Staff Recruiter at Tinder, you will be a strategic partner in shaping the organization’s talent landscape by driving high-impact hiring initiatives. You’ll take ownership of recruitment for senior and leadership level roles, act as a talent advisor, and contribute to building scalable recruitment processes and policies. This role also involves mentoring team members to enhance overall talent acquisition effectiveness.
This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration two days per week. This position is located in Los Angeles, CA or Palo Alto, CA.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Guide and mentor recruiters on sourcing techniques, candidate experience, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Share best practices for managing complex searches and building strong relationships with hiring teams.
  • Develop and execute hiring strategies for leadership and niche roles, aligning with long-term business goals.
  • Provide consultative recommendations to hiring managers and HRBPs on workforce planning, leveling, and organizational design.
  • Build and refine structured interview processes, creating rubrics and frameworks that ensure fair and consistent evaluations.
  • Lead the design and implementation of recruitment policies and best practices to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to align hiring priorities with business objectives and team needs.Represent the Talent Acquisition team in leadership meetings, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Champion inclusive hiring practices and contribute to building diverse talent pipelines.
  • Advocate for candidates by balancing their needs with business priorities to deliver exceptional experiences.
  • Leverage analytics to influence hiring strategies, optimize pipelines, and address market challenges.
  • Track metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and diversity representation to continuously improve recruitment outcomes.

You'll Need:

  • 7+ years of full-cycle technical recruitment, including leadership-level searches and policy development, and preferably in a high growth tech environment.
  • Strong understanding of technical roles and the ability to evaluate technical skills.
  • Proven track record of building and implementing interview processes, rubrics, and scalable recruitment frameworks.
  • Expertise in workforce planning, leveling recommendations, and aligning recruitment with business goals.
  • Ability to anticipate market trends and proactively adapt strategies to meet talent needs.
  • Experience coaching recruiters and contributing to the professional growth of team members.
  • Proficiency in ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever) and advanced sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches).
  • Strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles, with proven success in implementing inclusive hiring practices.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments while managing ambiguity and shifting priorities.
