🧑🏻💻 About the role
First things first: you want to know what you’re actually applying for. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distil it down to a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:
In this role, you’ll lead the charge on re-contracts, billing adjustments, and AR accuracy across a fast-changing customer base. You’ll also become a key voice in how our systems and tools are used, configured, and improved.
This is a role that blends execution with elevation: you’ll roll up your sleeves, but also shape how our tooling, processes, and operations evolve. We’re looking for someone who not only gets the job done, but who understands the systems behind the work, and is motivated to become a go-to expert or super user in tools like Business Central, Zuora, and Salesforce.
✅ Your mission, should you choose to accept it:
- Own and execute customer recontracts, billing corrections, proration, and account adjustments with precision and speed.
- Troubleshoot invoice issues, identify root causes, and implement both short-term workarounds and long-term fixes.
- Become a super user in our core FinOps platforms (e.g. Business Central, Salesforce, Zuora/Nue), helping improve how we use them, configure them, and train others to interact with them.
- Support stakeholders in navigating billing tools and flows, serving as a system-savvy point of contact for internal teams.
- Track recurring issues and lead small automation or process improvement projects that eliminate manual tasks and reduce risk.
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, RevOps, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to improve how data flows through our billing stack
🤝️ You’ll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:
- Proven experience in billing operations, accounts receivable, or contract lifecycle management within a recurring revenue (e.g., SaaS, subscription-based) business.
- Hands-on experience with billing and revenue platforms like Zuora, Nue, Chargebee, Stripe, or similar tools—and the confidence to become a power user or process owner over time.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft Business Central, NetSuite, or SAP, and CRM systems like Salesforce.
- Strong problem-solving skills, you’re comfortable troubleshooting billing logic and data mismatches across systems.
- Ability to spot inefficiencies, map workflows, and propose tooling or automation improvements.
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage both day-to-day execution and system/process improvements.
- Clear and structured communicator, you explain complex billing setups in a way that makes sense to both technical and non-technical teams.
- Self-driven, tech-curious, and reliable in fast-changing, cross-functional environments.
🎉 What’s in it for you?
Did you know that Mews was named the Best PMS of 2025—for the second year in a row—and has previously been recognized as the Best Place to Work in Hotel Tech for two consecutive years? Now you do! While much of this success is thanks to our incredible team, part of it is also because of the fantastic perks we offer. Beyond working alongside amazing colleagues and tackling exciting challenges, you’ll enjoy:
- Participation in the Company shares program
- Best-in-class Parental Leave Policy. At Mews, as the primary caregiver you get 6 months of fully paid parental leave, and as a secondary caregiver, you get 2 months of fully paid parental leave. (No matter your location, this can be used during the 1st year and applies if you've been employed for at least 1 year at Mews)
