We are looking for an Associate Software Engineer to join our SaaS Next-Gen Platform team in Atlanta, GA, reporting to the senior director of Software Engineering. In this role, you will work on building a SaaS-based recursive DNS Firewall Service that provides visibility into infected and compromised off-premise devices, roaming users, and branch and remote offices. As part of the SaaS Platform team, you will have the opportunity to use the latest technology to deliver the core foundation for all Infoblox applications and work with the best of the technical and thought leadership team at Infoblox. You are the ideal candidate if you are a great collaborator, strategic thinker, and you operate independently. You also have great communication skills and are deadline and results-driven. What you’ll do:
- Design, develop, and maintain features and iteratively deploy services using Infoblox’s cloud-based architecture as part of an agile SaaS team
- Develop mastery of assigned projects and associated technologies
- Collaborate with the team to understand the requirements and write clean, maintainable code adhering to Infoblox standards
- Drive the completion of your assigned features, contributing to the overall project completion
- Hands-on experience in at least one programming language such as Go, Java, Python, C++, etc.
- Exposure to version control systems, such as Git, and collaborative development tools
- Exposure of software development fundamentals, such as data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering is required
- Develop expertise in GoLang
- Learn new skills related to cloud technologies
- Develop expertise in a microservices architecture
- Improve efficiency rate with completing projects
- Contribute significantly toward our infrastructure
- Contribute meaningfully toward design and new ideas
- Start leading and taking ownership of the feature/project
- Gain hands-on work experience and become an expert on Docker and Kubernetes
