Hourly Pay Rate: $72
*Rate includes $202 daily tax-exempt stipend
Requirements:
- AAS/ BA or BS in Radiation Therapy or completion of approved AMA certified program.
- RT(T); NYS license or limited permit to practice as a Radiation Therapist required.
- CPR Certified
Responsibilities:
- Delivers accurately the prescribed planned course of radiation therapy under the general supervision of the Radiation Oncologist
- Checks prescriptions and compose patient charts, accurately record medical histories.
- Explains procedures to patient and advises patient regarding reactions to treatment.
- Observes patient for any unusual reactions or symptoms, ensuring the safety of the patient throughout the course of the procedure.
