About the role
The Field Supervisor supports the operational and administrative functions of a program designed to reduce health disparities in the San Gabriel Valley. In addition to leading daily field activities and supervising the field team, this role supports the management and growth of staff. This is a grant funded position that will end on 11/30/2025.

Responsibilities:
- Organize and coordinate field-related events, outreach activities, meetings, and materials
- Lead daily field activities and provide supervision to the field team
- Support the planning and coordination of program activities and operations
- Coordinate and maintain applicable program schedules and agendas, which may include tracking deadlines, deliverables, communication with management and/or stakeholders
- Coordinate activities with internal and external stakeholders
- Serve as a liaison between field staff and Program Management to facilitate communication, resolve issues, and support team needs
- Help with the delivery of general welfare interventions to the assigned communities of the San Gabriel Valley
- Use software apps and tools to collect and report relevant data tracking community health metrics
- Other duties as assigned by the Operations Program Manager, Administrative Program Manager,and Area Manager
Scope and Travel:
- Extensive travel by foot and by car within the San Gabriel Valley (Cities of Rosemead, El Monte, South El Monte), as well as travel to and from CORE’s Los Angeles Headquarters (Chinatown)
Qualifications:
- Preference for candidate with bachelor’s degree in public health or health sciences, or at least two years’ equivalent experience in relevant field
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experiencesupervising or managing staff
- Minimum 2 yearsof experience in public health, healthcare settings, community outreach or related field
- Experience in community outreach, conducting surveys, collecting data and reporting data
- Demonstrated experience working families from diverse age, cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds
- Experience working with community-based organizations, local government agencies, volunteer groups in LA County (preferred)
- Experience leading and coordinating community outreach events and activities (preferred)
Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to lead the field team and collaborate effectively with management
- Strong leadership and supervision skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications
