This is a hybrid position that requires working in the Salt Lake City, Utah facility at least 3 days per week and allows working remotely from home 2 days per week.

What YOU will do
- Trains, instructs and provides technical guidance to less experienced engineers to help them diagnose and solve problems and build capabilities.
- Recommends innovative design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required software needs for products/equipment.
- Ensures that the applicable products meet the customer's specification and relevant requirements. Develops software configuration standards for company-wide use to ensure current and future business targets are met.
- Trains software developers in the use of configuration management tools and the implementation of software quality standards that include control modeling and model based design.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Graphics, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field and 10 years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer or related role. In the alternative, at least a master’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Graphics, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field and 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related role would be acceptable.
- Must also possess at least 7 years of experience in C++ programming for deterministic real time simulation.
- Must also possess at least 5 years of experience in linear algebra, and numerical simulations.
- Must also possess at least 5 years of experience in game engine development for simulation.
- Must also possess at least 5 years of experience in high performance GPU and parallel computing.
- Must also possess at least 3 years of experience working with and leading software development teams.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.
The salary range is $118,000.00 to $246,000.00 USD per year. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
