Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Records/Scheduler to join our team! The Medical Records/Scheduler performs total maintenance of the Medical Record as it relates to health center operations at the Community and is responsible for scheduling all nursing staff. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining inventory of all nursing supplies.
Responsibilities:
- Follows and upholds the Community’s philosophy and goal to maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident’s quality of care and quality of life
- Follows safety policies in performing nursing care, assuring resident safety
- Follows and upholds policies and procedures of the Community
- Follows and understands the Community’s Emergency Preparedness plans
- Assists with meals in the dining room
- Follows rules outlined in the Community’s employee handbook
- Attends and participates in facility meetings and in-service training programs as assigned
- Follows infection control guidelines
- Observes residents’ rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, etc.
- Promotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guests
- Management of the Electronic Heath Record with data input on an ongoing basis
- Track physician visits and order reviews for regulatory compliance
- Schedule all nursing staff employees within budgetary guidelines
- Train CNA/CMA to document POC in Point Click Care
- Orders, tracks, and maintains inventory of all nursing supplies and remains within the nursing budget
- Participates in Medicare Triple Check process
