What You’ll Do 

As a Global Retail Training Specialist, you will: 

• Design and develop high‑quality learning content and assets, including e‑learning, classroom materials, facilitator guides, videos, tools, and blended learning solutions. 

• Apply instructional design principles to ensure training is interactive, learner‑centric, and aligned with clear learning objectives. 

• Manage multiple project roadmaps simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines. 

• Bring strong retail insights into the training creation process, ensuring content supports frontline needs and global business priorities. 

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across clusters, HR, Communications, Global Retail Excellence, VM, Merchandising, C&I, D&T, and more. 

• Partner with external training agencies, content providers, and event partners. 

• Use data, KPIs, and feedback mechanisms to assess commercial impact and drive continuous improvement of training initiatives. 

• Conduct training needs analyses and provide insights to retail leaders, encouraging a culture of continuous capability development. 

• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly, including preparation of presentations for senior stakeholders. 

• Stay current on industry trends and propose innovative ways to enhance learning experiences. 

  

What We’re Looking For 

• Experience in instructional design, training development, or similar roles—ideally within retail. 

• Solid understanding of retail operations, customer experience, and frontline capability needs. 

• Proficiency with authoring tools (e.g., Storyline, Rise) and learning management systems. 

• Strong understanding of adult learning principles, digital learning, and blended learning approaches. 

• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate performance data into actionable insights. 

• Excellent communication and project management skills. 

• Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience. 

• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
