This position is responsible for providing support to Talent Acquisition as well as the Human Resources Manager on an on-going basis. This position will provide effective internal & external candidate sourcing activities, administration of policies, procedures, guidelines, and benefits. The position will be based in Smyrna, TN and reports directly to the HR Manager of the company.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify candidates to fill open requisitions across the region.
  • Be responsible for the full life cycle recruiting process and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Development and implementation of plant policies, practices, and procedures necessary for the well-being of the Company and its Team Members.
  • Update record systems for personnel practices, including attendance information, performance appraisal activity, discipline, statistics, etc.
  • Assist with the administration of Company’s benefits plans, by presenting and interpreting both benefits programs for union and non-union employees.
  • Assist with coordination of company training program, including recognition of training needs, development of materials, and delivery of training to Team Leaders, Management and Hourly Team members, and documentation records.
  • Plan and prepare succession planning with Department Managers for salaried staff.
  • Conduct wage and salary administration programs for facility.

 

Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university, preferably in Human Resources or Industrial Relations or related field preferred.

Experience:

  • 1-5 years Human Resources experience in positions of increasing accountability.

Skills

  • Experience in a multi-shift manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
