We are looking for an solution/product owner to join our Access Management team within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) organisation. This is an opportunity for you to be part of an international team, eager to support our mission to Protect the Bank: De-risked, Compliant, Secure & Protected.
About this opportunity
In IAM, we provide centralised IAM solutions and standardised IAM services with the ambition to strengthen the security of the bank and act as single point of contact for all units within Nordea, utilize these solutions and services. IAM belongs to the Cyber Security area within Nordea.
As an solution/product owner, you will responsible for developing and maturing our end to end solution that authenticates our users, including multifactor authentication, password self-service and password less functionality. To success you will be working closely with product and applications owners from different areas within Technology such as Compute and Device Services.
What you’ll be doing:
- Take ownership of our end to end solution. Define and set the vision and roadmap of the product
- Drive improvements in alignment with architects and other areas of expertise, to support changing business needs
- Secure that legal and regulatory compliance requirement are adhered to
- Act as technical expert in your area of expertise
- Work closely with product and applications owners and share knowledge with others, act as a role model
The role is based in modern premises located centrally in Helsinki, Stockholm, Oslo, or in Poland, with the possibility to work partly from home. Please, note the candidate should be located in the country of hire already.

- Have a key interest in Cyber Security and supporting technologies
- Has worked several years with authentication solutions and processes, with focus on end2end solutions
- Are proactive, constructive and a can-do oriented mind-set and a strong driving force
- Have a structured and organised way of working with the ability to deliver results with high quality
- Have strong technical competence and documentation skills
- Have the ability to explain technical context to both business and technical audience
- Are fluent in English (spoken and written)
Your experience and background:
- Several years of proven experience working with authentication solutions such as: Multifactor authentication, Microsoft Windows Hello for Business, hardware tokens..
- You have knowledge about Microsoft Entra, authentication methods and protocols, SSO, OIDC, SAML, Kerberos etc.
- Knowledge of identity security best practices, for both on-premise and cloud environments
- Knowledge of fundamental security approaches and principles (such as Zero Trust and Least Privilege)
- You have worked as Solution/Product owner, Technical Product Manager or held similar positions
- Previous experience working in a DevOps team in Agile/Scrum setup
- Understanding of IT processes and system development life cycle
- Security certifications are a plus
