Production Assistant - Contractor

<p>We’re looking for a detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team on a part-time contract basis. As a Production Assistant, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing production processes, ensuring high-quality output, and meeting project deadlines.</p> <p><strong>THE JOB: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the production process, performing checks and troubleshooting issues as needed.</li> <li>Work closely with internal teams and vendor partners, to ensure smooth workflow and clear communication.</li> <li>Manage and support packaging, shipping and receiving efforts.</li> <li>Support management of production materials and supplies, ensuring timely shipping and inventory control.</li> <li>Maintain accurate records of projects and production activities, documenting in the appropriate channels and platforms.</li> <li>Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend changes to enhance efficiencies.</li> <li>Be a valued member of the Archrival Operations Team, lending input and feedback as needed</li> </ul> <p><strong>THE RIGHT TYPE OF PERSON: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong organizational and time management skills.</li> <li>Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.</li> <li>Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Able to carry and lift packages up to 50 lbs.</li> <li>Access to reliable transportation and ability to make trips between storage unit, shipping facility, etc.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>OTHER NEED TO KNOWS</strong></p> <ul> <li>This is a part-time contract position working on average 5-10 hours per week - with the ability to potentially work more in busy season.</li> <li>This role is based in Portland, OR and is required to be in office.</li> <li>Contractor will be compensated $20-$30 per hour based on experience.</li> </ul>
