Position Title: Production Quality Technician
Department: Quality Assurance Manager: Quality Assurance Manager
Tier Level: 20 FLSA: Non-exempt

Essential Functions:
- Examine raw materials, manufactured tubing, and other components to verify dimensional accuracy, material specifications, and adherence to defined specifications.
- Monitor production processes to ensure they are being followed correctly and that equipment is functioning within specified parameters.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections of components, sub-assemblies, and Finished Goods to ensure they meet all requirements prior to moving onto the next operation and/or release.
- Approve and sign off on in-process verifications, as applicable, to ensure product and Production work order details meet requirements.
- Perform random inspections of product in accordance with procedures and router requirements to assess product quality.
- Review Production work order details and related documentation, including, but not limited to, in-process measurement results and supplied data to verify compliance with procedures, router instructions, part specifications, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) requirements.
- Identify, document, and report any deviations from quality standards, including defects, inconsistencies, or failures to meet specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and non-conformances, ensuring proper traceability of parts and materials.
- Assist with the evaluation of product placed on IRR, Product Holds, and Deviations.
- Communicate identified defects promptly to leads and supervisors and collaborate on corrective actions for timely resolution.
- Point of contact for operators with part specification questions.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal quality standards and procedures, and ISO standards.
- Assist with process improvement and waste reduction initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
- ASQ Certification is highly desired.
Previous Work Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience with quality control in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., ISO 13485) is required.
- Previous experience working in an ERP system to record results, verify specifications/requirements, and document work order progress.
- Must be able to operate a computer and use various software programs, including Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Adobe).
- Demonstrated proficiency in using various tools and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), and other specialized testing equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to constantly display near visual acuity to inspect and detect small defects and measurements in tubing.
- Must be able to frequently move about inside the manufacturing environment and access machinery.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. is required. <
