These efforts shall include but are not limited to: hybrid cloud capabilities in both traditional cloud offerings and on-premise hybrid infrastructure, ensuring compatibility and seamless integration of platforms and services, migration to modern hybrid offerings from legacy systems, migration to cloud capabilities and services while ensuring platform availability.Be responsible for the planning, implementation, and growth of the AWS cloud infrastructure Build, release, and manage the configuration of all production systems.  Manage a continuous integration and deployment methodology for server-based technologies.  Work alongside architecture and engineering teams to design and implement any scalable software services.  Ensure necessary system security by using best in class cloud security solutions. Stay current with new technology options and vendor products, evaluating which ones would be a good fit for the company. Implement continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines when necessary

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES·         Be responsible for the planning, implementation, and growth of the AWS cloud infrastructure.·         Designing and implementing infrastructure provisioning automation, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, and tools and technologies such as TerraForm, AWS CloudFormation, etc..  Maintain services that may include Windows Active Directory, DNS, Federation Services, Exchange/Email, MS SQL, MS System Center, or cloud provider equivalent services. Ensure cloud and hybrid services are compatible to enable seamless service offerings to customers. Monitor usage of infrastructure resources; adequate compute and storage capacity to meet mission requirements in all operated environments. Continuously monitor IaaS and PaaS uptime in all operated environments; provide uptime and usage data to the government upon request. - Respond to escalated technical issues from customers or other team members to resolution.  Ensure secure implementations of any infrastructure service or offering using Industry best practices, STIGS, vendor recommendations, or as directed. Ensure all necessary software and hardware requirements are utilized to full potential and make recommendations for any changes or updates for enterprise implementations.  Assist the IaaS Architects as needed for project planning, troubleshooting, and implementation. Ensure Highly available, secure, and easily accessible infrastructure for customer utilization. Ensure future capacity and feature requests are captured and planned for implementation.·         Familiarity with hosting platform environments, and enable hosting of any chosen platform such as Kubernetes. Provide technical expertise and maintenance of detailed architectural designs, plans, and documentation in accordance with industry standards; to include detailed documentation on infrastructure and networks, configuration and layout of storage infrastructure, data sharing and migration plans, recovery plans, incident response plans, backup and archiving plans.
QUALIFICATIONS Required Certifications·          Education, Background, and Years of Experience·         At least 5 years of experience working with multiple Cloud and On-Premise infrastructure environment types such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, VMware, Openshift, Linux and Windows based environments.·         At least 5 years of experience building, maintaining, securing, and/or integrating systems and services for DoD Networks to include NIPR/SIPR/Jwics/Coalition. Demonstrated experience with security best practices and implementation on large scale infrastructure projects.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Required Skills·         Five-plus (5+) years of demonstrated experience working as a software engineer leveraging large scale cloud infrastructure as their primary application platform. Resume demonstrates deep understanding of modern security best practices for cloud infrastructure and networks.  Familiarity with Issue tracking tools such as Service Now, Gitlab, Vantive, etc..  Lead new service and feature delivery process from concept to release: design, build, test, and ship at a regular cadence.  Excellent written communication skills to provide detailed documentation.  Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot existing infrastructure and ensure any SLA’s are met. Ensure SLA/SLO metrics are tracked and reported as required.Preferred Skills·         At least 5 years of experience working with multiple Cloud and On-Premise infrastructure environment types such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, VMware, Openshift, Linux and Windows based environments.
