ROLE SYNOPSIS:
The Lead Production Technician is responsible for supporting safe, reliable, and efficient field operations across the Eagle Ford Basin. This role works closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, contractors, and cross-functional teams to install new infrastructure, maintain equipment, troubleshoot operational issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Success in this role requires strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, operational awareness, adaptability, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Install new wells, equipment, and facility infrastructure.
Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on production equipment.
Conduct root cause failure analysis and support issue resolution efforts.
Coordinate and oversee contractor activities, including post-construction inspections and invoice review.
Collect and validate operational data to support decision-making and equipment reliability.
Conduct pre-job and post-job reviews to improve operational performance.
Support continuous improvement initiatives that eliminate defects and variability in operations.
Investigate customer and third-party issues and collaborate to resolve concerns.
Schedule and prioritize work activities while supporting teammates and business objectives.
Participate in quality assurance activities and verification of business processes.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Experience utilizing data and available resources to solve operational problems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including working with remote teams through phone, video, and virtual technologies.
Proven problem-solving ability with measurable business impact.
Ability to work safely in a dynamic field environment.
