Principal Engineering Manager

The Azure AI Platform (AIP) is at the forefront of providing organizations globally with the necessary tooling and infrastructure to build and host AI workloads. As we rapidly scale, our aim is to establish a premier data analytics platform that underpins data-driven decision-making throughout the organization. Responsibilities

We are seeking a Principal Engineering Manager to lead the newly formed AI Platform Analytics team. This pivotal role involves collaborating with product teams across the AI Platform to ensure the delivery of actionable, developing data architecture/models, and reliable data for the entire organization.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years of experience in a leadership role within business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering, and experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience in a similar leadership capacity. 
• 2+ years of experience managing technical teams and projects. 
• 6+ years of experience working with query languages and managing large-scale data projects.
• 4+ years experience developing data visualizations with tools such as Poer BI, Fabric, etc.
