Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Staff Engineer Electrical to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals at our Melbourne, FL.

• Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy.

​Basic Qualifications:

Staff Electrical Engineer (T05):

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 12 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR a Master’s degree in a (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 10 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; or a Ph.D. (STEM) AND 8 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering.

• Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.

• Electronics Engineering experience.

• Experience in system- or platform-level roles (cosite/hosted-systems integration preferred).   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Deep expertise in RF, EMC/EMI and cosite interference mitigation — design and test experience resolving inter-system desense, isolation, filtering, shielding and antenna placement trade-offs.

• Ability to communicate complex issues effectively to crowds with diverse perspectives.

• Ability to prioritize disparate tasks.

Primary Level Salary Range: $152,900.00 - $229,300.00
