Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse/Casual Call - Industrial On-site Clinic

The Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse will provide professional nursing or medical assistant care as needed at an industrial clinic in Sturgeon Bay, WI.

• Room patients, perform and document vital signs and patient backgrounds.
• Coordinate provider schedules and appointment, enter orders and prepare patient charts.
• Instruct patients and families as directed within scope of licensure or certification.
• Prepare patients and assist medical providers with in-office procedures and prepare and administer medications/immunizations.
• Maintain exam rooms and equipment to be within infection control standards.
• Ensure appropriate levels of medical supplies for each patient room.
• Schedule patient appointments for lab draws, and process lab work as needed.

Qualifications: BLS Certification Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers from approved program. (Can be obtained on the job).

Medical Assistant: Certified as a Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant through an approved accreditor preferred, however can train on the job.

Licensed Practical Nurse: Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing. Valid Practical Nursing license in the state of WI through an approved accreditor.

Shift: Working Casual Call (meaning you work as needed), primarily looking to staff on Thursdays and Fridays at a local Industrial Clinic in Sturgeon Bay, WI.
