Job Description

• Maintains payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
• Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles, and department/ division transfers.
• Review and approve final payroll calculations and reconciliations prior to payment.
• Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.
• Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies.
• Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in the Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Strong experience payroll processing in multi-state and international environments, (e.g. UK Germany, Poland, Sweden, etc.).
• Complies with legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• Experience with Peoplesoft or Oracle Payroll System preferred.
• Proficient in garnishment withholdings, supplemental wage payments, payroll tax laws, benefit calculations, record retention requirements.
• Ability to schedule tasks efficiently and deliver excellent customer service.
• Extremely high level of integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
• Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
• Support management in problem resolutions, aid in coaching and mentoring Team members.
• English and Polish is required
