Multiple positions will be filled from this vacancy announcement. 

 

This is a highly responsible professional position that reports to the Division of Children’s Medical Services, Safety Net program (SNP) supervisor. This position is responsible for review of the Safety Net program claims and billing. 

 

Your Specific Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for gathering claims and billing information, verifying the accuracy, and assuring that information is entered into the appropriate data base to complete the billing and invoice process. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Reconciles provider claims.
• Supports provider enrollment and claims submissions.
• Provides technical assistance to Safety Net providers.
• Reviews service authorizations requests.
• Works with Budget Liaison to monitor funding allocation and expenses of the program.
• Prepares weekly Safety Net ledger.
• Inputs claims into Axiom Pro to facilitate provider payment.
• Verifies payment and invoice in CMS 3.0, Vendor Payment System, and FIRS.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing accuracy or customer service.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with insurance or claims.

Experience working with State programs and/or experience utilizing statutes and rules.
