Department Overview

Information Systems Technology Services is a unified organization comprised of various departments which collaborate effectively in order to deliver high quality technology solutions. The IT team that this position is part of is responsible for resource planning in support of the IT infrastructure project portfolio.

 

Position Summary

This position is responsible for managing the resourcing planning process for the assigned project implementation teams. This position is the single point of contact for the project management team to develop resource plans in support of their project portfolio.

 

This position facilitates weekly resource planning meetings with resource supervisor leadership teams. The position also facilitates a monthly strategic resource planning meeting with the senior leadership team of the department.

 

The position also develops and manages several weekly and monthly reporting packages used by the leadership team to increase visibility of the resource plan and manage the escalation and prioritization process. The reporting also supports the adoption by the project management team so

that resources can be planned for the entire project portfolio.

 

The position supports planning of and decision making for contracting a portion of the project portfolio.

 

The team also supports the EPCM contracting process and the IT Contractor Safety program. This position will have some responsibilities in support of these strategic programs.

 

Provides planning, product, business, and operations management analysis and support in support of business decision making, strategy, and operations. Provides input, support, and analysis to general IT business processes. Assists in the development of a prioritized budget for the IT organization and works with other financial or data personnel to ensure accurate and timely operations, budget, and/or project management.

 

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory.

This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.
